Medium bright and clear ruby. Poured from the bottle, it’s effusive with aromas of red berries, beeswax and a touch of herbs. Palate is full, cola, cherry, the nuttiness of stone fruit pits with a hint of cardomom. Bright juicy acidity with a touch of tannin. Finishes long. Salivating for more! A lovers wine. I’m thinking of star anise brined roast duck here…
