A medium ruby color, with aromas leaping from the glass. Dark red fruits and cola, pure essence of the Russian River Valley floor. Prominent acidity in this wine leads to a mouthful of cherry juice, herbal notes and spice. Flavors linger long on the palate with a hint of toastiness and earth to round it out. Love it! My perennial favorite go-to wine day to day, month to month, year to year. This wine would pair well with a cassoulet of pork and white beans.
