Light medium blood ruby in color. Aromatics of toasty oak and spices, some milk oolong tea herbality, red fruits and some florals reminiscent of rose and pennyroyal. Solid structure on the palate, bright acidity, firm medium tannins, a little barky but still sensuous. Quite drinkable, although I believe cellaring will further develop the feminity of this wine. Raspberry and red plum characteristics that are quite satisfying without being a fruit bomb. Some earthiness that accentuates the complexity. A medium long finish. Rosemary lamb whether a roast or chops with a side of umami rich herb and garlic tossed cremini mushrooms. Yum!
