A dark ruby color. The first time we’ve used whole cluster in this wine. My harvest notes mention the color of the juice being the darkest ever! Extraordinary wine, nothing like it in Russian River; it has to do with it’s particular terroir. Black fruited, complex, deep, rich and a mysterious nose. I would say the wine is still tight aromatically, but the nuances are there for those who pay attention. Palate is definitely black fruit, blackberry, dark plum, mulberry with a slight spice back. Elegant and substantial, grows in the glass. Cellaring some will reward even more. Nice balance to the acidity and tannin with earthtones, weaving it all together. Hearty, wintry warm meaty comfort food, such as a beef bourguignon ot stew would pair exquisitely!

13.0% alc., $65. Dark garnet color in the glass. A Pinot nose to die for, with the perfume of black cherry, spice and rose petal. Nothing is out of place in this mid-weight plus styled beauty offering layers of gregarious dark cherry and purple berry fruits that caress the palate with silkiness. Impeccable harmony and a lengthy finish that provides a juicy citric edge. This wine tastes damn good just like mothers milk.
