A bright ruby color. The first fragrances appear to be earth based – beet root, mushroom, deciduous forest floor, a little nutmeg. Flavors of red plum and dark red berries with a redolence that ties the aromas and flavors together. A more masculine wine than the ’22 RRV which I released first, being that was more fruit forward.

Deep and darker red fruit than many of the previous RRV blends due to a new component, the Lennox vineyard, which is more Sonoma Coast, although the vineyard owner wanted it called RRV. Stout and structured with stone fruit pit tannins and fine acidity.

This wine will continue to develop and cellar well but is drinking well as this wine is what I would call virile.

Peppercorn Steak, or as they call it, Steak au Poivre with your choice of the color of peppercorn lol…!
